Killarney Raceway lease approved, milestone for economic growth

In yet another milestone boost for economic growth, jobs and destination Cape Town, the City’s Mayoral Committee has recommended the approval of a new lease for Killarney International Raceway operated by Western Province Motor Club. The club’s long-term lease agreement of 28 years expires at the end of the year and the metro started in March this year with a process of public participation to hear from Cape Town residents whether they support the continuation of the lease agreement.
