The pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson has temporarily stopped the production of its Covid-19 vaccine but says it is not expected to affect the vaccine’s availability in South Africa.

The Sunday Times reports that the Aspen plant in the Eastern Cape is still receiving the vaccine from Leiden and has no interruption in stock.
