The event sees thousands of bikers from across Southern Africa get together to donate toys to children in need. These thousands of children live in foster homes, orphanages, clinics, places of safety, grassroots daycare centres and creches in the Western Cape.

The yearly Toy Run is one of the world’s biggest motorcycle charity events. The first one took place in 1983 in Cape Town, and 76 motorcycles were in attendance. Today, thousands of bikers from the region come and support the event.

After more than four decades

The Toy Run is a registered charity that gives toys to vulnerable children. If not for this event, some of these kids would never have received a gift like this.

The Toy Run isn’t just for bikers

Thousands of riders on motorcycles of every size and genre will converge on Killarney at the end of the month. There’s also going to be live music and entertainment, food, drinks and market stalls. And all you need to enter is a toy or toys.

A toy or toys are your entrance fee

You are invited to join in the good cause. You don’t have to have a bike; anybody who is ready to give back for the benefit of those who are in need is welcome.
