The last time we spoke to him was when the film Heart of the Hunter, adapted from one of his novels, made Netflix history just a week after it was released. The English version of Deon Meyer’s book ‘Leo’ has recently hit the shelves. He popped into studio for chat.

Leo follows detectives Benny Griessel and Vaughn Cupido who remain on duty in beautiful Stellenbosch. Benny’s countdown to his wedding day is interrupted when a student is found dead on a mountain trail, and the key suspect, a local businessman, is found murdered in what looks like a professional hit delivering a message.
