The City of Cape Town’s plan to temporarily relocate thousands of street people to the Strandfontein Sports Ground is in progress. The City’s Disaster Management Center will be responsible for erecting tents and providing ablution blocks.

When everything is in place, the department of Social Development will take over at the site.

The following organisations also provide services to assist street people.

Donations can be paid directly into The Haven Night Shelter organisation’s bank account.
