Government intends to administer booster shots against the coronavirus to health workers but is still awaiting approval from the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority.

So says the acting director-general of health, dr. Nicholas Crisp. He has received a request from the South African Medical Association, that follow-up doses be administered to health workers as soon as possible.
