Given the heatwave conditions expected over the next few days, the Cape Winelands District Municipality is asking people to not braai or start fires unnecessarily this weekend.

The South African Weather Service has issued a warning for heatwave conditions expected mainly over the Cape Winelands and in places over the interior of the West Coast and Theewaterskloof until Sunday.
