Gauteng police say they arrested 10 people after a cash-in-transit robbery in Pretoria yesterday.

Police also seized an unknown amount of cash, 12 fire-arms and ammunition.

Five people, including a 9-year-old boy, were injured during the robbery.

Three security guards sustained minor injuries.

The 10 suspects will appear in court in Brits within the next two days on charges of robbery, vehicle hijacking, the possession of explosives, possession of suspected stolen money and possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
