Achmat Isaacs and Saabirah Daya are two dedicated and top academic performers in their third year of their Bachelor in Business Administration at TSiBA Business School in Pinelands. They have been offered scholarships by Rosenheim University to attend their prestigious International Summer School on Global Business Development at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences, Bavaria, Germany, from 4-15 June 2018. Achmat and Saabirah are raising the remaining funds needed and they can be supported at this link.
This intensive summer school is a two-week-program intended for international business and industrial engineering students, designed for advanced undergraduate and postgraduate students and aims at giving students a first-hand insight into Global Business Development.
Achmat Isaacs hails from Manenberg and attended the Leadership Academy. He says “With Manenberg’s reputation of being a township infested with gangsters and crime, I have challenged the status quo and instead of accepting what was happening around me, I promised myself to lead a better life and add positive value to my community. I aspire to be a visionary and an ambassador for my community that serves as a motivation for the people in my neighbourhood. Anything is possible if you set your mind to it and focus your energy on achieving your goals.”
Saabirah Daya is from Landsdowne and attended Windsor High School; she is a top performer and first on the Dean’s merit list. She says “As much as I yearned to travel and experience the culture and life of being in another country, it remained a far-fetched dream, one I kept at the back of my mind until I was blessed with this magnificent opportunity. I am extremely excited to travel overseas for the first time and will always be eternally grateful to TSiBA for putting this experience in my path.” Keep an eye on the Smile Good News Network for more stories of inspiration.
