‘FREEDOM WALKERS’ HELP KIDS GET MOBILE!

Published on

A simple invention by a Cape Town parent is helping children with special needs be more mobile.

Derek Boshard developed the Freedom Walker to help his own daughter who was diagnosed with a Chromosome duplication syndrome that affects her physical and mental development.

The Freedom Walker is made from PVC piping and is custom-built for children with a variety of special needs.

Boshard says it’s an affordable walking device which is a great option for any parent wanting something to help their child gain some freedom.
