Fire Fighters in Cape Town remain on high alert for possible flare-ups. The Table Mountain National Park says firefighters have been on standby throughout the night in case of any eventuality. Yesterday afternoon it was announced that the fire has been largely contained but severe winds could ignite the flames at any time. At this time, flare-ups along Philip Kgosana Drive and Tafelberg Drive are being monitored.
