Eskom has announced that Unit 3 of the Kusile Power-station has been brought into commercial operation. Eskom says this brings to three the number of generation units that have achieved commercial status at Kusile. A maximum of 2,400 MW of electricity will now be, through the units, pumped into the national electricity-grid.
