Eskom employees return to work, loadshedding reduced to Stage 4

Eskom says all of its employees, who participated in the recent illegal strike have returned to work, leading to a significant improvement in performance and generation capacity. This improvement has prompted the reduction in loadshedding to stage 4 today. Technicians were also able to return 7 generation units to service. Spokesperson, Sikonathi Mantshantsha, says a further 600MW of capacity, from the hydroelectric scheme at the Cahora Bassa dam in Mozambique, has been added to the national grid.
