Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo will deliver his ruling on former President Jacob Zuma’s application for his recusal on Thursday. In a statement, the commission says the Deputy Chief Justice received a statement from Zuma that he needs to consider. On Monday, lawyers for Zuma as well as the commission’s legal team made arguments for and against Zondo’s recusal. Earlier Zuma accused Zondo of being dishonest about their relationship.
