De Lille submits fingerprints of officials to SAPS, following possible link to criminal record

The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Patricia de Lille says they’ve submitted the fingerprints of 2 of their officials to the SAPS Criminal Record Centre for verification. During the recent lifestyle audit of senior staff members, 58 were found to have no criminal record. Media Liaison Officer for the Minister, Zara Nicholson says preliminary checks indicate that the remaining 2 officials were possibly linked to a criminal record.
