The National Employers Association of South Africa says it’s challenging the Code of Practice for Managing Covid-19 in the Workplace, in court. The code is currently still applicable and places a responsibility on employers to protect employees from infection and prevent transmission. Neasa’s chief executive Gerhard Papunfus says the code also purportedly permits employers to enforce vaccine mandates in the workplace.
