The ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ opens up about his own dating horror story. The Captain America star spoke with People Magazine about knowing that a person is ‘pushing you aside casually’ is more devastating. He admits the experience is ‘much worse’ than ghosting.
Chris Evans revealed that someone he was dating slowly pulled away from him. Alluding that they were no longer interested in him.

“I feel I’ve experienced something much worse,” he tells People in an interview promoting his new action-romance movie Ghosted:
I think I’d prefer being ghosted because you can make up any story you want. I’ve had the slow decline in text responses, and you just know the person is pushing you aside casually
How did he cope with this? The 41-year-old actor say, “you tell yourself a story, whatever you have to get by.”

But all that is in the past. These days the actor enjoys a romance with actress girlfriend, Alba Baptista. The two have reportedly been dating for over a year. Baptista stars in Mrs Harris Goes to Paris and the Netflix drama, Warrior Nun.
A source reveals to People Magazine that “they are in love and Chris has never been happier.” Apparently Chris Evan’s “family and friends all adore her,” the source said.
The two were first spotted publicly in November while holding hand on a stroll in New York City’s Central Park. They later went Instagram official in January 2023 with a video of the two calling one another ‘babe’ over and over again.

He also says that marriage is something he “absolutely” wants in the future.
Chris also admitted to being a total “sap” for a real love story. He tells People Magazine that “vulnerability and humility” are important values for any relationship:
I don’t like to argue, I don’t like to raise my voice or any forms of manipulation. I think declarations of love are great; I love love. I’m a bit of a sap like that. I like being sentimental, I cry pretty easily. At a good song, nice sunset, yeah, my emotions are bubbling
