Looking for some Easter Activities to do in Cape Town this week? Do you need any ideas on how to keep the young ones busy this Easter Holiday in Cape Town? And it doesn’t just have to be kids 🙂

 

There’s many a thing, even for adults to do, to keep them entertained over the upcoming long week. One of the most visited tourist spots in Africa is the V & A Waterfront and there’s a whole range of activities for young and old to indulge in. Here is a list of things to do.

 

V&A Family Egg-scape

 

Join us for a thrilling Easter egg hunt adventure at Battery Park in collaboration with Adventure Works. Sign up to take part in one of the exciting family-friendly sessions and enjoy a day filled with team challenges, lawn games and lots of great prizes. Register here.

V&A Record & Music Fair – Easter Edition

For the Easter Edition, 30 traders with over 6000 records and other music memorabilia will be available including band merch, tees and cassettes on sale. There will also be DJs on decks throughout the day.

Cabo Beach Club

 

Pop by Cabo Beach Club with the kids to take part in their Easter Sunday Extravaganza. Lots of entertainment for the kids to enjoy.

Galileo Open Air Cinema

V&A Kids Market: Easter Edition 2024

 

 

The V&A Kids Market, a platform for the little ones to showcase their creative skills, returns. Come and support young entrepreneurs in the making, as they learn how to run a profitable venture.

Karien de Waal presents: Join Bands Not Gangs Easter Concert

 

Join Bands Not Gangs, a non-profit that uses music to help fight gangsterism in the Cape Flats and beyond. The organisation’s Mentors Band will be performing alongside the gospel-vocal style Friendship Choir. Their performance will be preceded by the opening act: Heatherley Court Youth Band, made up of 12-to-15-year-old learners. It promises to be an hour of pure musical indulgence.

AWOL Tours

Join us for an Easter Egg Hunt on our City Cycle Tour, where there will be tokens to collect. Collect as many as you can and exchange them for prizes at our Battery Park Office. Prizes include AWOL t-shirts, AWOL water bottles and chocolates.

Neighbourhood Easter auditions

Come and show off your talents at our artist auditions taking place over the Easter weekend. Our stage is open to all performers who would like to audition. Successful artists will gain access to the V&A Waterfront’s mentorship programme. Register here.
