    The Manenberg community is fearing a resurgence in gang violence, after three people were killed in isolated shooting incidents at the weekend. Police are currently investigating the possibility that one of the deceased is connected to the initial shooting incident.   The violence unfolded on Sunday with Western Cape SAPS spokesperson, Frederick Van Wyk, confirming that two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder are under investigation following the first incident.

  Bellville Police are investigating the motive behind a fatal shooting incident at a tavern in South Street and in Blankenberg Street, Bellville CBD on Friday night. Two people, one of which is a 40-year-old Chinese national and the other a teenager, were shot and killed by an unknown gunman who fired several shots at the tavern.   According to police reports, the 40-year-old Chinese national was the first victim. He allegedly arrived at the
