    Authorities are investigating two separate maritime incidents after a man was found dead in the sea near Lamberts Bay, while the search continues for another man missing off Cape Point.   In Lamberts Bay, emergency services responded to reports of a suspected drowning in the surf zone near Strand Street on Sunday afternoon.     Loadshedding has been reduced to Stage 2 until further notice. Eskom announced this morning that Stage 4 loadshedding had ended at 5 am.   Loadshedding has been reduced   Meanwhile, households and businesses in Cape Town that get their electricity from the City are on Stage 1-loadshedding. This will be in place until 4 pm and then power cuts will be suspended until 10 pm. Stage 2 blackouts will be in place overnight.

  The University of Cape Town (UCT) says its second week of the academic year proceeded smoothly on Monday. This follows disruptive protest action at UCT’s Upper Campus last week.   A large group of students took part in unlawful protests allegedly due to issues relating to student fee debt, student housing, transit and vacation accommodation.     The Department of Basic Education (DBE) has rubbished claims that grade 13 will be implemented next year.
