Second baboon found dead in Simon’s Town

The Cape Peninsula Civil Conservation (CPCC) intends to launch its own investigation into the recent deaths of baboons in Simon’s Town. This is after two baboons are suspected to have been shot and killed, in separate incidents, within days of each other. The first incident came to light on 5 April, when a dispersing male baboon affectionately known as Blondie was found dead along Palace Hill Road. The Cape Baboon Partnership noted
