City’s Safety and Security Directorate has confirmed the death of a Law Enforcement Advancement Plan (LEAP) officer who was hijacked and attacked in Philippi East on Sunday. In honor of World Homeless Day, the City of Cape Town and Haven Night Shelter are expanding their efforts to support vulnerable residents by adding 120 new shelter beds across the metro.
