The MEC of Health, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo has launched the R80 million upgrades to Victoria Hospital in Wynberg through a ceremonial sod turning event. This sod turning marks the start of the construction of a new Emergency Centre (EC) set to be completed in November 2020. R80 million of the total of R1.2 billion earmarked for infrastructure investment this year, will be spent on the construction of a brand new EC for this hospital. The
