The display showcases the indigenous Proteas that grow on Table Mountain and Magaliesberg, whilst also using the bright traditional colours of the Ndebele tribe. Designer, Leon Kluge, used up to a tonne of locally-grown flowers, Proteas and fyn-bos in this year’s award-winning display.

CEO at the South African National Biodiversity Institute, Dr Moshibudi Rampedi, says shows like these, allows South Africa to show off its abundant natural resources.
