ANC secretary general Ace Magashule handed himself over to the Hawks earlier today and is currently in the Bloemfontein magistrate’s court, appearing on charges of fraud, corruption and money-laundering. Magashule was arrested in connection with a multi-million-rand asbestos project that dates back to his time as the premier of the Free State.
