A teenager has drowned while swimming with a friend at Hout Bay Beach.

The 13-year old got into difficulty and disappeared underwater. At the same time: A search was also conducted at Sunset Beach in Milnerton, for an 18-year-old from Mandalay, who is believed to have been swept away by a strong rip current.
