A 12-year-old boy from Plettenberg Bay in the Southern Cape has been released into the custody of his family after being arrested on a charge of rape.

According to the SABC, the boy is accused of allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl in January in Qolweni.

Merentia joined the media world in 1996 and in 2001, she took her first steps in the broadcasting world. In her free time, she likes to go on adventures in the city. She also likes to learn new dances, not that she is any good at that.
