Cape Town has welcomed more investment and jobs created by international company, Computacentre.

The international company this week opened it’s impressive new business complex in Bellville.

The new complex can accommodate up to 1 000 employees and the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for economic Opportunities James Vos says it’s a wonderful job creating investment for the residents of Cape Town.

Computacentre’s corporate head office is based in the United Kingdom and provides IT and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services.

Vos says more companies are choosing Cape Town because the city boasts first-class infrastructure, sound governance and four of the top universities in Africa, which provide a pipeline of skilled individuals.

“The City’s world-class airport, which is currently undergoing massive expansion, our well located harbour which gives access to African and international markets and our ability to transact land to unlock economic potential, makes the City of Cape Town a destination of choice for investment. As the tech hub of the continent, Cape Town has what it takes to provide a business-friendly environment which grows the economy and creates jobs.”
