MARK BOUCHER AND CUNARD JOIN FORCES TO SAVE THE RHINO

The fight against rhino poaching has received a massive boost with a partnership that was announced between the shipping line, Cunard and the Boucher Legacy organization.

Former Proteas cricketer, Mark Boucher leads various iniatives to combat the poaching of rhinos.

The Boucher Legacy organization says the new partnership will assist it in raising funds to combat rhino poaching will greatly contribute to new technologies being created to protect these majestic beasts.

The Queen Elizabeth luxury cruise liner has joined hands with the foundation to raise awareness and funds for the project under its almost 2 000 guests.

It is hoped that R500 000 can be raised over the next year to be diverted into various anti-poaching initiatives.
