Efforts to fight mountain fires have seen a big boost. This is because the Cape Winelands District Municipality has welcomed a batch of new firefighters. They graduated from the firefighter training course on Friday at the Ysterplaat Air Force Base. An excited Mayor Elna von Schlicht announces that the new firefighters have completed an internationally accredited course.
