Jeremy Loops Set to Take the Stage at Glastonbury 2025!

Published on

South African singer-songwriter Jeremy Loops is set to make waves on one of the world’s most iconic festival stages. Over the weekend, it was confirmed that Loops will perform on Saturday, June 28, 2025, on the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury Festival—a milestone moment in his career.

Glastonbury, renowned for its legendary lineups and cultural significance, will once again see South Africa represented on the global stage.

Loops joins an impressive roster of artists, including Nick Lowe, Hothouse Flowers, The Coronas, The Bluebells, and a special tribute performance titled Not Completely Unknown: A Celebration of the Songs of Bob Dylan, featuring Sophie B. Hawkins, Oisin Leech, Lorraine Nash, and Henry Grace.

The announcement follows the release of Jeremy Loops’ fourth studio album, Feathers and Stone, which dropped in January 2025. The album has already produced hit singles such as Dust Over Dunes and Go Again, receiving widespread acclaim for its deeply personal themes of home and love.

Known for his signature blend of acoustic melodies and feel-good hooks, Loops continues to solidify his place on the international music scene.

In addition to his upcoming Glastonbury performance, Loops has released Wolves as the latest radio single from Feathers and Stone. The album, which has already delivered hits with Go Again, Loveblood, and Coming Home, captures a raw and heartfelt exploration of contrasts—light and dark, weight and lift, the very essence of Feathers and Stone.

Reflecting on the album, Loops describes it as a project years in the making, shaped by life’s experiences and the need for balance. “It’s a journey—a balancing act between heaviness and lightness, the weight of the world and those rare moments that let you breathe,” he explains.

Recorded in his home studio in Cape Town, the album is infused with Loops’ signature authenticity and craftsmanship. Collaborating with producers such as Ed Holloway (Lewis Capaldi, Dean Lewis), Tobias Kuhn (Milky Chance), James Earp (Vance Joy), and Iain Archer (James Bay, Snow Patrol), Feathers and Stone blends global influences with his South African roots.

Notable tracks include Deep Cuts, a song about resilience and pushing through life’s struggles, and No Thanks, Not Today, a quiet act of rebellion against modern-day pressures. Meanwhile, Wolves serves as an anthem of adventure and courage, embodying the wild, untamed spirit of life.

With Feathers and Stone gaining traction and a highly anticipated performance at Glastonbury on the horizon, 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Jeremy Loops.

He is also set to embark on a European and UK tour in February, bringing his soulful melodies and electrifying live performances to audiences across the continent.
