Free MyCiTi shuttle service for Cape Town SVNS

For all the party people of Cape Town and BLITZBOKS fans, you don’t have to worry about finding parking near the stadium for this weekend’s Cape Town SVNS, as there will be a free MyCiTi shuttle service on Saturday 7 December and Sunday 8 December 2024 for fans attending the Cape Town SVNS event at the Stadium.

Make sure you allow enough time to get into the CBD though, and take note of the free shuttle service points below:

 

Civic Centre – Thibault Square – Stadium MyCiTi Stations

 

Buses will operate regularly between the Civic Centre, Thibault Square and Stadium MyCiTi stations.

 

Saturday

 

  • First bus from Civic Centre station: 07:30
  • Last bus from Stadium station: 21:00

Sunday

 

  • First bus from Civic Centre station: 07:30
  • Last bus from Stadium station: 21:30

 

CTICC – Stadium

 

Buses will run frequently between the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) at the City Sightseeing bus stop and the P4 drop-and-go area on Helen Suzman Boulevard at Vlei Road.

 

Saturday

 

  • First bus from CTICC: 07:30
  • Last bus from P4 drop-and-go area on Helen Suzman Boulevard: 21:00

Sunday

 

  • First bus from CTICC: 07:30
  • Last bus from P4 drop-and-go area on Helen Suzman Boulevard: 21:30

Fans must present their match tickets to MyCiTi staff to gain access to the free shuttle.

 

All other MyCiTi services require passengers to have a myconnect card loaded with money to travel.
