It’s been just over a month since the tragic death of 17 year old cyclist Calib de Kock. According to information, the 17 year old Calib de Kock, of the Phoenix Cycling Club, was out for a training ride in Sea Point when someone opened their car door, and he collided with it. Our thoughts remain with his family as we reflected on how difficult it must be for them at this time:

“I never knew how many people he knew and I never knew about the impact he had on peoples’ lives”

Ryan gave Calib’s mom Anthea a call to find out how the family is coping.
