South African production company .and Films made national and international headlines with ‘This Is How The World Ends’. This would be director Rob dos Santos’ feature debut, that was initially a straight-to-VHS release. It was intentionally released this was both to bring awareness to the film and as a direct artistic statement and protest against artificial intelligence and digital streaming culture.

The unusual release paid off as the film has now been picked up by local cinema and overseas. We were joined by Rob, Suraya, and Byron from .and Films to talk about the new project. It’s available to watch at select cinema’s, bookings can be done here.
