Ladysmith Black Mambazo live in studio

The five time Grammy Award winning Ladysmith Black Mambazo, who have existed for over six decades, perform on Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th of November 2023 at The Artscape Theatre.

The legendary Ladysmith Black Mambazo began their SA Legacy Tour in May at The Joburg Theatre. After October shows at The Durban Playhouse, they now they bring their beautiful isicathamiya sounds to the Mother City. We got a treat in studio this morning when the group joined us and performed for Smile 90.4FM.

Phil de Lange is the producer of the Ryan O'Connor Breakfast show and has been with Smile 90.4FM since it's inception in 2013. Through his work on the breakfast show he has won two national radio awards. He has been in broadcasting for 15 years and has honed his talent at 6 different radio stations. Outside of radio he is also a podcast producer and award winning stand-up comedian.
