Hellmann’s Mayo is BACK!

Published on

Pick n Pay has today confirmed that Hellmann’s Mayonnaise is back on their shelves!

There was an outcry from quality mayonnaise lovers across the nation earlier this year when the retailer announced they would discontinue stocking the famous brand.

But fans of the condiment were so vocal that Pick n Pay say they have listened to these pleas and the delicious-on-everything Mayo is now back on the shelves at over 100 Pick n Pay stores nationwide.

When the product was delisted by its local supplier earlier this year, Pick n Pay assured customers it was already hard at work on plans to get the iconic mayonnaise brand back in stores as soon as possible.

And they stuck to their word, and saucy fans can stock up right now on the much-loved mayonnaise in over 100 stores nationwide, in two new-format jars, 800g and 400g.

The HOD for Edible Groceries (that sounds like a cool job!), Calvin Watson, said customers were simply heartbroken when Hellmann’s was delisted.

“In keeping with our customer promise to deliver the products they want and need, we immediately started exploring other supply options around the world to get the product back on our shelves as quickly as possible.”

Should die-hard customers need their Hellmann’s fix immediately upon hearing the news, it’s available to purchase on Pick n Pay asap! or Mr D – for delivery within an hour!
