Doctor Randall Ortel: from the taxi to medical school

Published on

Good things come to those who wait. Patience is a virtue and probably even better when you work hard to get what you deserve. Randall Ortel is a doctor from Manenberg who drove taxis to support himself at medical school. Today he works as family medicine specialist at Groote Schuur Hospital and specialises in the occupational health clinic. Smile Breakfast gave him a call:

In his spare time Randall enjoys educating his 42 thousand TikTok followers with videos in ways they can understand.
