Taylor Swift walked away as the top artist at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards. Rita Ora and Taika Waititi co-hosted the show – which featured performances by Muse and Gorillaz among others.
The event was held the PSD Bank Dome in Germany. It saw Harry Styles as the top nominee with seven nods, and receiving one award – Best Live. The category was reintroduced following a two-year break caused by the pandemic.
Back to the woman of the hour. Taylor Swift took home four awards – Best Artist, Best Video, Best Pop and Best Long form Video. This is Swift’s second win for Best Video, the other being her collaboration with Brendon Urie.
