Banyana Banyana head coach, Desiree Ellis has been named the Women’s Coach of the Year at the 2022 Confederation of African Football Awards.
This is the third consecutive time that she has won this award.
Under her leadership, the South African women’s national team has made it to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, and qualified for the Women’s World Cup, next year.
Banyana and Morocco are to meet in Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final on Saturday night.
