President Cyril Ramaphosa says Government will closely engage with residents and officials of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality to help that metro push back and avoid Day Zero.

Ramaphosa says the City has, through several interventions, been able to avoid running out of water these past few weeks.

He says the issue of water scarcity is a country-wide problem, that needs to be addressed from several angles.
