Soon after her subpoena threat, acting Public Protector Kholeka Gcaleka has confirmed that President Cyril Ramaphosa has submitted written answers related to the Phala Phala investigation.

Public Protector spokesperson Oupa Segalwe says the president submitted his answers yesterday morning, at 10. Segalwe added that the office of the public protector will not comment further about the investigation.
