Western Cape residents now have until 31 May to get counted in Census 2022

Statistics South Africa has once again extended the deadline for residents of the Western Cape to get counted in Census 2022.

The deadline has now been extended to 31 May.

Stats SA says counted household numbers jumped from 49% just before the Easter weekend to 70% this week.
