Former president Zuma back in the dock again

Published on

Roads in the vicinity of the Pietermaritzburg High Court will be closed or inaccessible to members of the public when the trial of former president, Jacob Zuma, resumes this morning at 10 o’clock. A local traffic management plan indicates that the affected roads would be closed from today until Thursday, while the court is in session. Meanwhile, Zuma has announced plans to institute private prosecution against senior state prosecutor Billy Downer. Spokesperson for the Jacob G Zuma Foundation, Mzwanele Manyi says the instruction to seek private prosecution against Downer would be put into operation in the next few days.
