Agri SA has congratulated South African farmers and farming communities for their hard work that has led to the significant growth in the sector over the past year.
Statistics SA yesterday released its latest GDP-growth figures which show that the agri-sector had an impressive 12.2-percent growth in the last quarter of 2021 – the highest of all economic sectors in the country.
Chief Economist at Agri SA Kulani Siweya says this output has contributed significantly to the 4.9% growth recorded in SA’s GDP in Q4.
