DStv cracking down on password sharing

Published on

From 22 March, DStv subscribers will no longer be able to live stream DStv content on more than 1 device at the same time.

DStv is not limiting the number of people using a single login – however only one person will be able to use the streaming service at a time.

Users will still be able to watch previously downloaded content on a second device.

In a statement on their website, DStv says the move is aimed at counteracting password sharing and piracy.
