Former DA provincial leader Bonginkosi Madikizela is expected to make a comeback to the political scene, this time as an advisor to the Western Cape premier.

The spokesperson for the Premier, Cayla Murray says the appointment has not yet been finalised, as the national Department of Public Service and Administration must first vet the application, in line with associated regulations. Winde intends to appoint Madikizela as a special advisor.
