“Reasonable” access to male and female condoms will be made available to pupils aged 12-years-old and above depending on the level of inquiry or need.

This is according to the Cabinet-approved Department of Basic Education 34-page policy on the prevention and management of pupil pregnancy in schools which was expected to be implemented from January next year. The department has confirmed the authenticity of the documents.
