The Western Cape head of health, Dr. Keith Cloete says the province has now officially exited the third wave of the covid-19 pandemic.
Cloete says the Western Cape’s Covid-related hospital admissions, infection rate and mortality rate have now decreased significantly.
He says efforts will now be ramped up to get more residents vaccinated against Covid-19.
