Millions of people who have already been vaccinated against Covid-19 will receive an SMS on Monday to download their digital vaccination certificates.

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced last night that the country will soon issue the certificates as proof of vaccination.

The Department of Healths says people who are vaccinated after Monday will automatically receive an SMS with a link to their certificate.
