Western Cape youth encouraged to apply for Basic Education Employment Initiative positions

Western Cape young people, between the ages of 18 and 35, have less than a week to apply for teacher’s assistant positions as part of the second phase of the country’s Basic Education Employment Initiative.
The province has almost 30-thousand positions available.
Successful candidates will support teachers with administrative tasks and classroom management, while others will assist with maintenance, cleaning and general administration at schools.
